Freaks and Geeks, is in my opinion, exactly what a sitcom should be: it has a unique, yet universal plot line with endearing characters. Though it came out in 1999, I only started watching this past year while pretending to work at my summer job, and it took only one episode to make me fall in love with the characters.

Rock the Vote Concert Review

Benefit concerts have really exploded since the late ’60s, starting with the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, to the more recent Rock the Vote and Hurricane Katrina benefit concerts. They have popped up every couple of years or so to raise funds for or awareness about different causes. As fun as these concerts sound, there has been some criticism about their effectiveness.
